Description

In the production of glass granules, soda-lime glass is crushed and pre-sifted.
The crushed glass is then shaped into beads by means of a heat stream in a furnace.
Glass beads are a mineral blasting medium.

Micro glass beads

The beads are very fine and small, like sand, and I intend to use them to make the weighs for a weighted blanket. This can be helpful for people with autism or even anxiety which causes sleep problems.

The 25kg bag is extreemly heavy to pick up so I would suggest that you divide the 25kgs into two bags which would make it easier to pick up.

Finally, my address was written in a strange way on the parcel. I did send an email explaining how the address should be laid out. The way we do it in the UK may be different to Germany.

Micro glass beads for weighted blankets

I use these micro glass beads to fill weighted blankets. I regularly buy them and choose the largest size and find they’re ideal for the job. They have the texture of sand and feel very comfortable in the blankets. They are reasonably priced and delivery is always prompt.
