Description

Type 3285 is a direct-acting motor valve suitable for dosing liquids and gases in closed- or open-loop control circuits. It is driven by a stepper motor whose integrated electronics considerably simplify integration into the process — no additional external control modules are required. A particular advantage of the stepper motor drive is that no further energy input is needed to hold a valve opening once it has been set. This noticeably reduces a system's energy demand, making it more efficient. Type 3285 is available as a standard version with ON/OFF or proportional function, as well as in a variant with an integrated positioner or an integrated process controller — depending on how much control intelligence is required directly at the valve.
