Description
Reliably measuring and controlling large gas volumes - that is what the Burkert Type 8745 stands for, which can be configured either as a mass flow meter (MFM) or as a mass flow controller (MFC). Optionally, four different gases can be calibrated in the device, facilitating flexible use in changing processes.
A thermal inline sensor, positioned directly in the main gas flow, ensures very fast response times with minimal pressure loss. Control is handled by a Burkert direct-acting proportional valve as the final control element, ensuring high response sensitivity. An integrated PI controller additionally ensures precise control behavior of the MFC.
As an MFC, the Type 8745 is available in two actuator variants: with an electromagnetic or with an electric motor-driven proportional valve, allowing the device to be adapted to different requirements.
