Description
The Type 2101 is a pneumatically actuated globe valve developed specifically for decentralized process automation and designed to operate reliably even under demanding conditions. Its design principle allows ELEMENT series automation units to be easily integrated at virtually any level of configuration – from electrical/optical position feedback, through pneumatic control, to a fully integrated fieldbus interface.
Tightness and service life are ensured by the proven, self-adjusting chevron packing stem seal. The valve and automation unit form a highly integrated, compact overall system with a smooth-surfaced design and factory-integrated pilot air channels. This is complemented by protection ratings IP65/67 and NEMA Type 4X as well as high chemical resistance, making the valve also suitable for steam applications.
