Description
The Burkert type 2000 is an externally controlled angle seat valve, consisting of a pneumatically actuated piston actuator and a 2-way valve body. Typical of an angle seat valve is the valve seat positioned at an angle to the flow direction, which results in a flow-optimized, low-loss flow path.
Depending on the ambient temperature, the actuator is manufactured from either PA or PPS. A proven, self-adjusting stem seal ensures high tightness over the entire service life. Gunmetal and precision-cast stainless steel are available for the 2/2-way valve body; both versions feature a flow-optimized design and deliver high flow rates.
Since the valves are designed to be maintenance-free and robust, they are suitable for continuous use in practice. A comprehensive range of accessories allows retrofitting with a position indicator, stroke limiter, or manual emergency override.
