Description
The pilot-operated diaphragm valve Type 2031 (CLASSIC line) combines a pneumatically actuated piston actuator with a diaphragm and a 2-way valve body. The proven, robust actuator with plastic housing is designed for both hygienically sensitive and aggressive ambient conditions. The valve body and diaphragm are designed to be flow-favorable and largely dead-leg-free, enabling high flow rates and a wide range of applications. Both components are available in all common materials and versions, allowing a precisely matched selection for the respective application.
The actuator itself has a compact, autoclavable design in PPS. Automation units of the 8690/8697 series can be integrated at any level of expansion and are also retrofittable. An ATEX/IECEx-certified device variant is also available for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The bonnet housing is available in either plastic or stainless steel. As standard, the actuator is equipped with an integrated optical position indicator; a minimum and/or maximum stroke limitation can optionally be retrofitted.
