Description
The type 2060 is a pneumatically actuated angle seat valve whose actuator is made entirely of stainless steel, making it designed to meet the highest demands on the process environment. Tightness over the entire service life is ensured by a proven, self-adjusting stem seal.
Since the actuator was developed for demanding applications, laser-welded joints are used to ensure stability and easy cleanability. The exhaust air can optionally be collected, allowing the actuator to operate independently of ambient conditions — an advantage for service life and hygiene. An optimized stainless steel angle seat body also allows high flow rates. As part of the Burkert process valve system, the valve can be supplemented with a wide range of accessories.
All wetted parts comply with the requirements of EC Regulation 1935/2004. Versions with FDA conformity as well as explosion-protected designs are also available on request.
