Description
The pilot-operated diaphragm valves Type 2030/2031 consist of a pneumatically actuated piston actuator, a diaphragm, and a 2-way valve body. The robust, proven plastic actuator is suitable for both hygienic and aggressive operating conditions. Thanks to a flow-favorable, largely dead-leg-free design, the valve bodies achieve high flow rates and cover a wide range of applications. Valve body and diaphragm are available in all common materials and versions.
In terms of design, the actuator has a compact, autoclavable design in PPS. The 8690/8697 automation units can be integrated at any level of expansion, including as a retrofit. An explosion-protected device variant to ATEX/IECEx is optionally available. The diaphragm mounting base can be made of either plastic or stainless steel. As standard, the actuator is fitted with an integrated optical position indicator; a minimum and/or maximum stroke limitation can optionally be installed in addition.
