Description
The Type 8188 is a level measuring instrument for continuous measurement in liquids, equipped with an exchangeable cable or rod probe, or alternatively with a coaxial measuring probe. Designed for industrial use in virtually all areas of process engineering, it reliably covers even tall vessels with measuring ranges of up to 75 m.
Process conditions such as heavy vapor development, density fluctuations, or changes in the dielectric constant do not affect measuring accuracy, nor do buildup or condensate formation on the probe or vessel wall. In addition, the Type 8188 enables measurement of liquid interfaces, such as those typically found at an oil/water interface.
