Description
The type 8756 mass flow controller/meter is designed for the precise measurement or control of small liquid quantities using a media-separated sensor. It operates on the Coriolis principle, which functions independently of the specific medium — pressure and temperature fluctuations therefore have no effect on measurement accuracy. In addition to flow, the sensor also detects the density and temperature of the liquid.
The device design provides stable flow measurement that remains robust against external disturbances; even under changing process conditions, no repeated zero-point adjustments are necessary. Since all wetted materials are highly resistant, the type 8756 can be used for both aggressive and non-critical liquids.
The device is available in several versions: as a pure flow meter (MFM), as a controller with an interface for a modular actuator, with an integrated proportional valve, or with an integrated micro gear pump. The high-precision, self-priming pump features a hermetically sealed, wetted chamber, offers a wide turndown range, and generates only extremely low pulsation — ideal as a control or dosing system for liquids drawn from an unpressurized container.
