Angular cast steel is available in three hardness grades: GH, GL, and GP. It can be used in compressed air blasting systems and also in centrifugal wheel blasting systems – preferably with wear protection. Depending on the hardness grade, this blasting media will round off sooner or later in the operating mixture. Angular cast steel is ideally suited for cleaning, roughening, descaling, and for blasting as preparation before coating metallic workpieces.

Description

Steelgrit angular is produced by crushing steelshot.
Suitable for use in various applications as three grades of hardness are produced by different heat treatments.
The GH hardness remains angular in the operating mixture, the GL has the edges rounded off in the operating mixture and the GP grains become spherical.
