Description
Type 6026 is a direct-acting 2/2-way piston-type (lift armature) valve whose coil is media-separated from the fluid section. This is made possible by a stainless steel metal bellows, which separates the coil and housing both thermally and hermetically — this allows extreme media temperatures to be handled just as reliably as aggressive media, without condensate forming between the fluid section and the coil, and without the coil overheating or freezing impermissibly.
A chemically highly resistant epoxy encapsulates the solenoid coils, making the valve specifically suitable for critical media. Since the housing and seals are optionally manufactured from stainless steel and PTFE, use in demanding chemical applications is also possible. For those wishing to reduce energy consumption, coils with "kick and drop" (KD) electronics in dual-coil technology are available; together with a connector to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, the valves meet protection rating IP65.
