Description
The Burkert Type 6240 is a servo-assisted, compact piston valve for nominal sizes up to DN 13. The plug and core tube are welded together, which increases pressure and leak-tightness safety, while different combinations of sealing materials can be used depending on the application. The shape and surface quality of the body are designed for maximum flow rates.
To protect against chemical stress, the coils are encapsulated in highly resistant epoxy. An optional sliding ring bearing extends service life with dry gases. Reliable opening of the valve is ensured by a fixed-coupled piston system, while the coil system itself is bolted and designed to be vibration-resistant.
For energy-efficient continuous operation, coils with integrated Kick and Drop electronics are available in dual-coil technology, which significantly reduce electrical power consumption during operation. Explosion-protected versions are also available.
