Description
The basic design of the Type 8805 consists of a 90° rotary valve in the form of a ball valve or a butterfly valve, combined with a pneumatic rotary actuator. The 90° rotary motion of the actuator reliably opens and closes the valve. Depending on requirements, the actuator is available in single-acting or double-acting versions, allowing it to be adapted both to simple shut-off tasks and to more demanding control tasks.
The system can be expanded on a modular basis: positioners of the 8791, 8792, 8793, 8691, 8692, 8693, and 8694 series are available as accessories for continuous control, a Type 6519 pilot valve for actuating the drive, and a Type 1061 position feedback unit for monitoring the valve position. This allows the Type 8805 to be flexibly integrated into different automation concepts.
