Description
The Type 6430 is a servo-assisted 3/2-way piston valve for nominal sizes from DN 8 to DN 40. If the valve is not additionally supplied with pilot air, it requires a minimum differential pressure to switch. Three versions are available for different applications: for neutral liquids and gases in the pressure range from 1 to 16 bar (NC and NO function), for technical vacuum up to 3 bar (NC and NO function), and – with pilot air – for vacuum up to 8 bar (also in NC and NO function). All versions are also available as a latching version, which holds the respective switching state even in the event of a power interruption.
For commissioning or manual actuation, the Type 6430 features a manual override, which is only omitted on the latching version. A maintenance-free, media-separated 3/2-way rocker valve, Type 0331, serves as the pilot valve, increasing operational reliability. To reduce electrical power consumption during operation, coils with integrated "Kick and Drop" (KD) electronics in dual-coil technology are available. In combination with a connector to DIN EN 175301-803 Form A, the valves meet protection rating IP65.
