Walnut shell grit is an extremely soft, organic, reusable blasting abrasive made from crushed, cleaned, and sieved walnut shells. Due to its low hardness, walnut shell grit is primarily used for surface applications without any loss of the base material. Walnut shell grit is an extremely environmentally friendly product and is made from 100% renewable raw materials.

Description

Nutshell granules are an extremely soft, organic blasting media from crushed, cleaned and sifted walnut shells. It is non-ferrous.
This blasting abrasive has a relativly low hardness and a low specific gravity. Therefore it is especially appropriate for a gentle cleaning of surfaces and for the deburring of workpieces made from plastic. In doing so there is no abrasion of the workpiece.
