CW617N brass as the base material
CW617N brass defines the branch with 26 items; two items are in nickel-plated MS 58. CW617N is dezincification-resistant and therefore the grade required in water applications. EPDM instead of NBR
Unlike on the compressed-air side, EPDM dominates with 19 items ahead of NBR with five. EPDM handles hot water and common cleaning agents far better but is sensitive to mineral oils — the inverse suitability to NBR. That choice is no detail; it decides whether a seal lasts months or years.
Up to PN 25 bar
Pressure ratings reach PN 25 bar on 19 items, plus PN 10 bar on six and PN 16 bar on two. Claw couplings therefore sit above the quick-connect couplings of the water side under quick-connect couplings and spray nozzles. More rugged claw technology for the site is under construction fittings.
Symmetrical coupling without plug and socket
Connection is via hose barb sizes 13, 19 and 25 as well as G 3/4 male thread. The matching clamps are under hose clamps and crimping sleeves — particularly important with claw couplings, because locking applies torque to the hose connection. Connection sizes and spray nozzles
