Hose clamps, clips and crimping sleeves
The joint between hose and fitting is where a line most often fails — usually because the clamp does not match the outer diameter. We carry 63 items in five groups, each with a stated clamping range. The matching hoses are under compressed air and spiral hoses.
Galvanised steel or W5 stainless
Galvanised steel covers the standard case with 49 items. Twelve items are made from W5 stainless steel — the choice in damp conditions, outdoors, and anywhere rust on the clamp is unacceptable. For drinking water or food-contact applications see water fittings and irrigation equipment.
Clamping range, not nominal width
What matters is not the nominal hose size but the outer diameter. Clamping ranges run from 8–12 mm hose OD to 80–100 mm and are stated per item. A range must contain the actual outer diameter, not merely graze it — otherwise the joint slips under pressure or the hose is pinched.
Clamp, clip or crimping sleeve
The five groups distinguish designs: worm-drive clips for universal use, two-part clamps for large diameters and crimping sleeves for permanent, non-releasable joints. Crimping sleeves need a crimping tool but withstand higher pressures. Dedicated clamps for construction fittings are listed under construction fittings.
Five groups by design
In a compressed-air network, clamps sit behind the coupling, that is behind quick-release couplings with European plug-in profile, and ahead of the consumer, for instance blow-off valves and guns.
