Temperature control
In mould and tool temperature control the point is not maximum pressure but heat resistance, tightness over many cycles and unambiguous identification of the circuits. This branch holds 1,014 items for exactly that. Pure compressed-air applications belong under quick-release couplings with European plug-in profile and international plug-in profiles.
PN 15 bar instead of PN 35 bar
971 of the 1,014 items are rated PN 15 bar, another 22 at PN 10 bar. That is deliberately lower than in compressed air: temperature-control circuits run at moderate pressure but at temperatures that stress the sealing material. For higher pressures with aggressive media see process industry.
Plain MS 58 brass and FKM
Plain MS 58 brass dominates with 896 items, plus 60 nickel-plated, 22 in 1.4305 stainless, 17 in plastic and 12 in aluminium. Sealing is FKM (534 items) and high-performance FKM (122) — NBR is practically irrelevant here at 11 items. That is precisely the difference from an air coupling. European and international plug-in profiles
The range splits by plug-in profile: 418 items with the European and 402 with the international profile. Added to these are 140 fittings and components plus 23 Softflow conveying-hose quick couplings. Classic fitting technology for compressed air is under pneumatic fittings.
Manifolds, colour coding, stop rings
Overview at the tool comes from 14 manifolds and colour codings plus stop rings for identifying quick-connect hose lines in sizes 6, 10, 13 and 16. There is also chamfered control tube to be cut to length. Hose clamps are under hose clamps and crimping sleeves, blow-off fittings under blow-off valves and guns.
Connection threads and hose barb sizes
Among connections male threads dominate: G 3/8 male on 90 and G 1/4 male on 75 items, plus metric M 16x1.5 and M 14x1.5 threads and hose barb size 13.
