As soon as the medium is no longer compressed air, the criteria change: chemical resistance, cleanability and loss on disconnection move to the front. This branch gathers 1,005 items designed for exactly that. The standard compressed-air case is covered by quick-release couplings with European plug-in profile and international plug-in profiles.
Stainless instead of brass: when the switch pays
Stainless steel 1.4305 is the main material with 586 items, supplemented by 143 items in 1.4401 and 24 in 1.4404 — the molybdenum-alloyed grades for chloride-bearing media. Alongside sit 127 brass items for cases where stainless is not technically required. Low-spill couplings
The 142 low-spill couplings release almost no medium on disconnection. That is not a comfort feature but counts wherever the medium is expensive, aggressive or harmful — and where drip losses add up over many coupling cycles. Comparable technology for temperature-control media is under temperature control.
Sealing material: FKM and high-performance FKM
FKM leads with 523 items, supplemented by 52 in high-performance FKM. NBR with 103 items remains for uncritical media, EPDM and TFEP cover special cases. The sealing material is stated per item — it decides suitability more often than the base material does. Hoses for these applications are under compressed air and spiral hoses.
Eight groups from chemicals to snowmaking
The branch splits into eight groups: 403 standard quick-release couplings, 214 chemical and industrial fittings, 142 low-spill versions, 126 temperature-control couplings, 52 fittings for snowmaking plant, 36 claw couplings, 21 cleaning couplings and 11 water fittings. Rugged claw technology for the site is under construction fittings.
Pressure ratings and valve types
Among pressure ratings PN 35 bar leads with 530 items, followed by PN 15 bar with 126, PN 16 bar with 103, PN 18 bar with 57 and PN 25 bar with 38.
