standard series
The standard series is the workhorse of the ewo air preparation programme. It covers the complete connection range from G ⅛ to G 2, is available with plastic and metal bowls and can be combined into complete service units. Where a high operating pressure matters, 40 bar and 60 bar versions are available as well.
Why compressed air has to be treated
All devices in the series share the same connection geometry and the same mounting points. That means filter, regulator and lubricator of the same size can be bolted together directly without adapters, and the train can be extended later without changing the pipework. Spare bowls, filter elements and drain valves are structured systematically across the sizes, which simplifies spare parts stocking considerably.
Finding the right device
| Device group | Function |
|---|---|
| Compressed air filter | Cyclone separation and sinter filter, 40 µm, G ⅛ to G 2, also 40 and 60 bar. |
| Micro filter | Fine filtration in the µm range for sensitive processes and painting applications. |
| Pressure regulator | Keeps the working pressure constant regardless of fluctuations in the mains. |
| Lubricator | Metered mist lubrication for tools and cylinders. |
| Small lubricator | Compact lubrication directly at the consumer. |
| Service units | Filter, regulator and lubricator pre-assembled as a ready-to-fit unit. |
| Accessories | Brackets, spare bowls, filter elements, seals and drain valves. |
Typical applications
- Central preparation at the hall connection
- Decentralised units directly at the machine or workstation
- Retrofitting existing systems without modifying the pipework
- High-pressure applications up to 40 or 60 bar
- Service units for assembly lines
- Maintenance with systematic spare parts stocking

Frequently asked questions
Can I combine devices of different sizes?
Only devices of the same size bolt together directly. Adapters are needed between different sizes; in practice it is better to select the size according to the highest flow rate required across the whole train.
What does "inlet and outlet reduced" mean?
The housing corresponds to the larger size, but the connection threads are smaller. This gives more bowl volume and separation capacity with a small connection – useful where a lot of condensate accumulates but the line is narrow.
Are spare parts available for older devices?
Filter elements, bowls, seals and drain valves for the standard series are available individually. Tell us the item number of the device and we will assign the matching part.
What operating temperature is permitted?
With a plastic bowl, 0 °C to +50 °C is permitted; with a metal bowl, 0 °C to +90 °C. The exact values are given in the technical data of each item.
