Accessories for Water Couplings
Accessories are the branch that makes an installation fit together in the first place: adapters between thread sizes, reducers, double nipples and replacement seals. 31 items in four groups. The overview of the water area is given by water fittings and irrigation equipment.
Adapters between thread sizes
Plain MS 58 brass leads with 25 items, six are nickel-plated. Plain is acceptable on connectors that stay permanently mounted and are not handled regularly. Where things are coupled and parted, nickel-plated is the better choice — see quick-connect couplings and spray nozzles.

Pressure ratings vary: PN 10 bar on 19 items, PN 16 bar on nine, PN 25 bar on three. The weakest link governs the system — an adapter rated PN 10 bar limits a run otherwise designed for PN 25 bar. That is precisely why the rating is stated per item, accessories included.

Typical connection combinations are G 3/4 male to G 3/4 female and G 1 male to G 1 female, plus female threads G 3/8, G 1/2 and G 1 1/2. Most transitions can be built without a chain of adapters. The equivalent on the compressed-air side is under pneumatic fittings.
Replacement seals instead of new purchase
Four items are sealed with EPDM — these are the replacement seals for applications with hot water or cleaning agents. Replacing an aged seal is almost always cheaper than replacing the fitting, and in drinking water under claw couplings for drinking water it is the intended route anyway.
