    The “Disc Micrometers – 123” product group comprises Mitutoyo instruments for precise outside and special-purpose measurements. The frame, measuring faces and operating concept are matched to the application and support repeatable results in production and quality control.

    Features and applications

    • Disc-shaped measuring faces suit chordal tooth thickness, recesses and positions close to shoulders.
    • A ratchet or friction mechanism supports constant measuring force and improves repeatability.
    • The mechanical design provides direct, robust readings for routine workshop and quality-control use.
    • Measuring the root tangent length of spur and helical gears.
    • You can measure recessed features that are difficult to reach with a standard micrometer.

    Selection should take account of measuring range, resolution or graduation, measuring-face geometry, measuring force and, where applicable, protection class and data output.
