Special SFB device variants
Under special SFB device variants Schmersal groups the devices prepared for direct connection to a Safety Fieldbox — control panels of the BDF 200 series as well as safety switches and interlocks of the AZM 161, AZM 170 and AZ 16 series in fieldbox versions.
What makes a fieldbox version
These devices are pre-assembled ready to plug into the Safety Fieldbox. Instead of wiring every device individually all the way back to the control cabinet, they are plugged onto the fieldbox on site; evaluation runs over a shared line. That saves wiring effort and inputs at the safety controller.
A deliberately mixed group
This category is mixed on purpose: it contains control panels of the BDF 200 series with emergency stop, selector switches and indicator lights, plus solenoid interlocks with 1,000 to 2,000 N and safety switches with separate actuator. The filter above helps narrow things down; the product designation is part of every article name.
Characteristic data
Depending on the device Performance Level c to e and category 1 to 4, protection IP65 or IP67, ambient temperature up to +80 °C on individual versions. The control panels additionally meet EN ISO 13850 and EN IEC 60947-5-5 for the emergency stop function.
