Temperature control quick-release couplings European plug-in profiles
With 418 items this range is the largest block in temperature control and covers the European plug-in profile – the one customary in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you are building a new mould temperature-control system or extending an existing mould, this is where you work; for imported moulds and machines international plug-in profiles applies instead.
Four nominal widths from DN 2.7 to DN 13
The four base series are graded by nominal width: ESHMC DN 2.7 for the smallest channels, series ESHM DN 6 as the best-selling size, ESH DN 9 for larger circuits and ESHG DN 13 for manifolds and main lines. Three TempSecure groups are added – interlocked versions that cannot be separated under pressure and so prevent scalding during a mould change.
PN 15 bar, but up to 150 °C
On 387 of the 418 items the material is bright brass MS 58, 28 are nickel-plated and three are plastic. Brass is not a cost decision here but a thermal one: it conducts well, distorts little and tolerates the alternating load between cold and hot better than many alternatives.
TempSecure as the interlocked variant
The operating pressure is PN 15 bar – lower than in compressed air, because temperature-control circuits work at low pressure and high temperature. That is exactly why the seal matters: 237 items carry FKM and 86 high-performance FKM for the upper temperature band. Among valve types free flow leads with 246 items. Connection nipples, barbs and accessories are carried by fittings and components, manifolds and colour coding by manifold blocks and colour coding, delivery hose couplings by SoftFlow delivery hose couplings.
