BDF200-SD/FB
The BDF200-SD/FB is the BDF200 variant with serial diagnostics and a field box interface — 79 versions, designed up to Performance Level e and Category 4.
Safety engineering
Performance Level up to e, Category 4, PFH value 2.89 x 10⁻¹⁰, protection class III. Standards EN ISO 13849-1 and EN IEC 61508, plus EN ISO 13850, EN IEC 60947-5-1 and EN IEC 60947-5-5 for the emergency stop function. 23 of the 79 variants carry a certificate: 15 cULus and TÜV, eight cULus.
Serial diagnostics and field box
All versions have the field box interface; serial diagnostics is present or absent depending on the variant — a separate filter attribute in the shop. The pin assignment of the connector plug is given in the technical data of every item, including the serial diagnostics input and output.
Design and operating positions
Housing in glass-fibre reinforced, self-extinguishing thermoplastic, degree of protection IP65, ambient temperature -25 to +65 °C. Width 40 mm, height 69 mm, depth 233.5 or 252.5 mm, fastening via interior mounting holes with two M5 screws. At position 1, 74 of the 79 variants have an emergency stop pushbutton, 61 of them with a protective collar; position 2 mostly carries a key selector switch.
Electrical data
Rated operating voltage 24 V, rated insulation voltage 32 V DC. Mechanical life of the command devices 1,000,000 operating cycles. Test pulse duration and interval of the safety inputs and outputs, leakage current and voltage drop are given in the technical data of every item.
