PowerScan PM9600 (STAR radio)

PowerScan PM9600 – Industrial Handheld Scanner with STAR Cordless System™

The PowerScan PM9600 series uses Datalogic's proprietary narrow-band STAR radio system in 433 MHz or 910 MHz versions. Bidirectional radio communication provides immediate feedback from the host system, reducing capture errors. Unlike standard Bluetooth, limited to 7 devices, STAR supports considerably more devices active on a single base station – an advantage in large warehouse and manufacturing environments.

Available in Standard Range, High Performance and Auto Range optics, with a 16-key or 4-key keypad and display, or without display, plus USB, RS-232 or Ethernet kit.

Like the rest of the 9600 series, PM9600 models are rated IP65/IP67, survive drops from 2.5 m, and feature wireless charging with smart battery technology.
