Ready-wired reversing contactor assemblies from 3 to 55 kW at 400 V – electrically and mechanically interlocked.
Two contactors that run a motor forwards and backwards must never pick up at the same time – otherwise a short circuit occurs between two phases. The 3RA23 assemblies therefore come from the factory with mechanical interlocking and complete wiring. Compared with building your own from two individual contactors this saves assembly time and rules out the most common wiring error. The range covers 7 to 110 A at AC-3, with screw or spring-loaded terminals.
