Safety-related shutdown inside the device: 13 to 570 A, line voltage 200-480 V.
The Failsafe version of the 3RW55 brings safe shutdown into the starting device itself. In a plant where the drive has to be stopped via a safety circuit, the additional safety contactor in the feeder is no longer needed – one device less, one wiring step less and an unambiguous shutdown path. The range covers rated operational currents from 13 to 570 A at a line voltage of 200-480 V, with control supply voltage 24 V AC/DC or 110-250 V AC and screw or spring-loaded terminals. Which safety function and which achievable performance level the device is approved for in a specific case is stated in the data sheet of the individual article – that is a question of the complete safety function, not of the starting device alone.
