Plug-on auxiliary switch blocks plus function and link modules for contactor control.
If the auxiliary contacts on the contactor are not enough, a block is plugged on – on the front for up to four contacts, laterally for two on each side. Terminal designations are standardised and the assignment is given in the datasheet of every article. In addition there are the 3RA28 and 3RA27 function modules, which handle direct-on-line, reversing and star-delta sequences directly in the contactor – either conventionally wired or as an IO-Link version that controls the starter over a data line and reports back. The 3RC7 link modules perform the same task for communication-capable contactor assemblies.
