Blast machines, complete blast systems and mobile units
The pressure blast machine is the heart of every open-air blasting job. We supply blast machines in single- and twin-chamber design, from the compact workshop vessel to units built for continuous site work. If you would rather not configure everything yourself, the blast systems are the shortcut: a machine with matched basic equipment, where hose assembly, nozzle, helmet and breathing-air supply already fit together. For work in occupied buildings or during ongoing production there are the mobile blast systems of the Wetblast range, which inject the water only downstream of the metering valve – the vessel stays dry and the abrasive is not washed out. Vessel size depends far less on the machine itself than on the compressed air you have available and how long you want to blast without refilling.
Nozzles, guns, metering valves and remote control
Nothing affects surface output and air consumption as much as the nozzle: our range of blast nozzles includes venturi and straight-bore types in tungsten carbide, boron carbide and silicon carbide, matched to abrasive and service life. Alongside them we stock blast guns for cabinet and hand operation, metering valves to control abrasive flow, and remote controls built on the deadman principle, without which no machine may be operated in Europe. Matching hoses, couplings and nozzle holders are held in the same nominal sizes, so that no installation fails for want of one connection. For pipes that have to be treated from the inside, inner pipe blasting offers dedicated lances and rotating heads that deflect the jet onto the pipe wall.
Blast cabinets: Pulsar series, BNP series and special designs
Wherever parts are processed repeatedly in one place, a cabinet beats open blasting: the abrasive stays in circulation and the surroundings stay clean. Our blast cabinets range from small bench units through tumble and automatic cabinets to large floor-standing installations. The Pulsar cabinet series covers the compact end and is available per model as a suction or pressure cabinet; the BNP cabinet series starts where larger parts, higher throughput or aggressive media such as steel grit come into play. As a rule of thumb: suction blasting for fine work and smaller areas, pressure blasting for removal rate.
Blast rooms and low-dust blasting
For large components we build blast rooms with filter unit, abrasive recovery and lighting – an investment that pays back mainly through the recovered abrasive. The supporting equipment – dust collectors and vacuum units, abrasive recovery and cleaning, cyclones and air dryers – is listed under industrial systems. Where enclosure is not an option, the equipment for dust-free blasting takes over: hand-held units with suction head, blast heads of the EDBH and HSP series and wet blasting systems bind the dust right where it is created. One honest qualification: this cuts dust emission into the surroundings considerably and saves enclosure and clean-up, but it replaces neither the blast helmet nor the breathing-air supply for the operator.
Respiratory protection, safety equipment and spare parts
Blasting is a respiratory hazard, which is why safety at work does not belong at the end of the order but in the same calculation as the machine: Apollo series blast helmets, breathing-air filters and climate control valves, blast suits, gloves and lighting. Spare parts matter just as much: wear items such as nozzles, hose couplings, seals, cabinet gloves and view windows are held in stock or sourced quickly from the factory – including for older installations.
